Pay for College - Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA)
Start FAFSA early to maximize aid opportunities!
Some states and colleges offer priority deadlines for aid (money on a first-come, first-served basis).You can apply for financial aid as soon as the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) opens on October 1st. You don’t need to be admitted to a college yet to submit the FAFSA. You just list the schools you might attend, and they’ll receive your financial information once you’re admitted. At the same time, you’ll also be working on your college applications. These often have deadlines ranging from November through January (for fall admission), but exact dates depend on each school (see below for application deadlines).
EVHS Financial Aid Workshop
EVHS invites students and parents to attend a FAFSA Workshop for help completing the financial aid application. Please bring 2025 tax information to complete your application at the workshop. Computers and translators will be available to support families.

SAT TESTING GUIDE
Several testing dates are available throughout the fall and spring. EVHS will serve as a testing site on the following dates:
- November 7, 2026 (Deadline to register is October 23)
- March 6, 2027 (Deadline to register is February 19)

COLLEGE VISITS
Throughout the school year, college and university admissions representatives will visit EVHS to meet with seniors during lunch. These visits are a great opportunity for students to learn more about specific schools, including academic programs, campus life, admissions requirements, application deadlines, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities. Students will also have the chance to ask questions and connect directly with admissions representatives. Below is a list of currently confirmed college and university visits. Additional schools and dates will be added as they are scheduled:
September 15, 2026: Heritage University
September 30, 2026: Heritage University
October 26, 2026: Seattle Pacific University
November 12, 2026: Heritage University
December 10, 2026: Heritage University
ON THE SPOT ADMISSIONS VISITS
Througout the school year, college admissions counselors are onsite to offer on the spot admissions to seniors meeting the admissions requirements. Below is a list of currently confirmed dates. Additional schools and dates will be added as they are scheduled:
