School Safety Alert - 5-2-25

Late last night we were contacted by local authorities stating they had received word of a credible threat towards East Valley Central MS. The threat was tracked back to two East Valley School District students who are siblings. Moxee Police Department immediately made contact with these two students to investigate and address the threat.

Working closely with local authorities, the East Valley School District responded by ensuring the safety of our students and staff by excluding those students from our schools according to our discipline policies and procedures. Police presence will be increased while local authorities continue the investigation.

The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority and we are committed to taking every precaution to ensure a secure learning environment. As always, we encourage our school community to follow the principle: If you see something, say something.
